I am a huge AI optimist. In part because that’s just who I am as a person, I’m always pretty optimistic. My options right now include being extremely bummed about the current rate of change, letting it get the better of me, and probably losing my job eventually anyway, OR working very hard to envision a future that I actually want to be a part of, where AI makes my work better and more impactful, and doing everything I can to make that happen.
